A Cafe style menu is available in Gabbro from 05 March 2010 onwards.

The interior has been updated with the addition of modern lighting and mirrors; the seating has been re-upholstered with new dining chairs to match in cream and chocolate leather to create a cosy yet contemporary setting to enjoy a relaxing Snack or a few drinks.

Gabbro is open to hotel guests and non-residents.

We are open for Quick Bites everyday as follows:

12:00-21:00hrs     Monday – Thursday

12:00-20:30hrs     Sunday

12:00-21:30hrs     Friday & Saturday

Forthcoming changes include the exterior walls and railings which will be updated and completed in the near future together with new exterior  lighting and a new sign!

Without doubt we have a great outside seating area in Edinburgh, with magnificent walled gardens accessed from the Lounge in Gabbro Cafe and with views to Arthur Seat and Salisbury Craggs! Perfect for Al Fresco drinks after a busy day exploring the City attractions. The gardens are divided by a large wall and on one side children are welcome whilst on the other side the adults can enjoy a relaxing space!  Gabbro is named after the stalignites of Salisbury Craggs and offers breakfast to our hotel residents between 08:00-10:00am
